1911 Sterling Silver Working Whistle Pendant by Sampson & Mordan
This antique whistle is made from sterling silver. It’s very high pitched and loud. You can see it’s been used and loved as it has quite a few dinks, but it still works absolutely fine. It’s made by renowned British makers, Sampson & Mordan. The hallmarks are a bit rubbed but it’s from the Chester Assay Office and I’m confident the date letter is 1911.
The total length is 4.4cm with the bale and 1.3cm wide across the middle. Weighs 3.8 grams.
Condition: Good antique condition. As mentioned it has some dinks front and back. Aside from this, it just has the usual marks and tarnish which you’d expect on an antique item.
