1953 Sterling Silver Scottish Coiled Snakes Celtic Brooch
This vintage brooch is made from sterling silver and features coiled snakes in an arch, to resemble a penannular cloak clasp. It has a full hallmark on the back, from the Edinburgh Assay Office, with the date letter for 1953 and the maker’s initials HW&S. There’s also a little loop for adding a safety chain
Measures 3.7cm x 3.7cm. Weighs 7.1 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Clasp works well. Just has the usual light marks which you’d expect on a vintage item.
