Vintage Silver Unusual Filigree Handmade Drop Shape Box Pendant
This unusual pendant is made from solid silver (acid tested). It features intricate filigree work in a drop shape, and it has a three dimensional “shadow box” (i cant think of a better description!) behind it which is an excellent design as it provides structure and rigidity, and so protects the filigree from damage! There’s a large bale at the top which is hallmarked but they’re too indistinct to make out. It acid tests as solid silver.
The pendant measures 3.4cm wide, 6.2cm long including the bale and 1.4cm deep including the silver balls on the filigree. It weighs 13.5 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. No damage to the filigree. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish which you’d expect on a vintage item and a few very minor dinks to the backing.
