Paul Vincze Sterling Silver Cherubs Pendant with Enamel Hearts
This vintage pendant or charm is made from sterling silver and it’s by Hungarian designer Paul Vincze (14 August 1907 – 5 March 1994). It features apair of cherubs playing musical instruments - one has a tambourine and the other a set of bagpipes. Around the outer edge is a ring of cobalt blue enamelled hearts. There’s a soldered-shut jump ring at the top for hanging and it’s stamped on the back with “P. Vincze. London. Sterling Silver”. This is a rare design of Vincze’s and not one I’ve come across before!
Measures approx 1.6cm wide and 2.6cm long including the jump ring. Weighs 4.0 grams.
Condition: Good uncleaned vintage condition. Some of the hearts have small chips/fleabites to the enamel when viewed under magnification but they’re not noticeable unless you’re really looking for them! Overall, it just has the usual light marks and wear which you’d expect on a vintage piece.
