Vintage 9ct Yellow Gold Horse's Head Carved Hardstone Cameo Pendant
Here I have a vintage 9ct yellow gold pendant, set with a carved hardstone cameo of a horse’s head. I believe the stone is an agate. The cameo is housed within a secure bezel setting and it’s recessed within the bezel, so there’s a lip of gold above it to protect the cameo from wear. It’s stamped on the side with English hallmarks for 9ct gold, from the Birmingham Assay Office, with the date letter for 1984. It has a good sized bale at the top for hanging. (The photos are all taken in natural light. The first ones are indoors, and the last 2 are outside).
Measures 1.4cm wide and 2.7cm long with the bale. Weighs 1.9 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Just has the usual light marks to the gold which you'd expect on a vintage item.
