Here I have a vintage 9ct yellow gold pendant, set with a reverse carved rock crystal intaglio of a cat’s face. The carving is very nicely detailed and the stone is faceted around the edges which adds a bit of sparkle. It sits within a gold bezel frame, with 2 little mice above - the mice have a small sapphire set between them and their tails wrap around to form the ring which holds the bale! It’s stamped on the side of the bale with English hallmarks for 9ct gold, with the date letter for 2000, the maker’s initials are NC and the assay office is tricky to make out but I’m pretty certain its Sheffield. The bale can accommodate a chain up to about 3mm.
Measures 2.2cm wide and 4.1cm long with the bale. Weighs 6.5 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. No damage or repairs. Just has the usual light marks to the gold which you'd expect on a vintage item.
