1979 Vintage 9ct Yellow Gold Small Ingot Pendant - London Hallmarks

£285.00

Here I have a vintage 9ct yellow gold ingot pendant. It’s solid, not hollow, so is a nice weight, and it has statement hallmarks on the front from the London Assay Office, with the date letter for 1979 and the maker’s initials JML. It’s unusual in that most vintage gold ingots are very large (and thereby expensive!) so it’s nice to see a daintier sized one, plus the vast majority are dated for 1977 (the Queen’s jubilee year), and have Birmingham hallmarks.

It has a jump ring at the top for hanging.

The ingot alone (not including the bale ring) measures 1.8cm high, 0.5cm wide and 0.3cm deep. With the ring at the top, the total height is 2.6cm.

It weighs 3.3 grams.

Condition: Very good uncleaned vintage condition. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the gold which you'd expect on a vintage item.
