Here I have a vintage sterling silver brooch in the form of a fish. It’s a well made, heavy piece, with etched detailing on the fins and tails, and a bezel set opal for the eye. It appears to be studio made and the design is very Art Nouveau inspired, though the hallmark shows it is a much more recent piece. It fastens with a rollover safety clasp on the back and there’s a safety chain attached.
Measures 6.5cm x 4.4cm wide. It weighs 23.7 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The clasp works perfectly. Just has the usual very light surface marks which you'd expect on a vintage item.
