Vintage 1979 Sterling Silver and Enamel Flying Swallow Pendant - Edinburgh Hallmark
This vintage pendant is made from sterling silver and enamel. It depicts a swallow in flight, within an oval frame. The swallow is enamelled in naturalistic colours and the enamel is in brilliant condition. There’s a full UK hallmark on the back, from the Edinburgh Assay Office, with the date letter for 1979 and the maker’s initials of Hjaltasteyn of Shetland.
With the bale, the total length is 4.7cm and it’s 2.9cm wide. Weighs 7.6 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on a vintage piece.
