Vintage Sterling Silver and Enamel Kingfisher Pendant - 1984
This vintage pendant is made from sterling silver. It features a handpainted enamel design on the front, of a kingfisher sitting among rushes. The artist’s initials are tiny and tucked just below the kingfisher’s feet. The back is fully hallmarked from the Birmingham Assay Office with the date letter for 1984. This is new old-stock and the mid 1980s and it is in unworn condition.
With the bale, the total length is 3.8cm and it’s 1.6cm wide. The portrait itself is 2.6cm by 1.4cm. Weighs 5.0 grams.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition - as “new old stock” it has never been worn. No damage to the enamel. The silver just has some very light storage marks here and there.
