Vintage Sterling Silver Gilt and Hand-painted Enamel Butterfly Pendant
This vintage pendant is made from sterling silver which has been heavily plated in gold. It depicts a butterfly with beautiful hand-painted enamel in orange, yellow and brown tones. The back is stamped for Silver. This is new old-stock and it is in unworn condition. The photos are in a mix of direct sun and shade - I struggled to capture the gold colour of the silver but trust me it’s there and it does looks much more golden in real life! There are 2 split rings at the top for hanging.
With the split rings, the total length is 2.5cm and it’s 2.6cm wide. Weighs 5.6 grams.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition - as “new old stock” it has never been worn. No damage to the enamel. The silver just has some very light storage marks here and there and the split rings are slightly more silver in colour than the rest of the pendant.
