Vintage Silver Large & Detailed Devil Horned God Pendant - Spanish Hallmarks
This vintage pendant is made from solid silver. It’s in the shape of a devil or horned god and it’s wonderfully detailed and large!! I’ve seen this design in antique vesta cases, but never in a solid silver pendant. There are tiny spots of white enamel in his pupils, I don’t think the rest of his eye was ever enamelled. He has a large bale at the top for hanging and Spanish silver hallmarks on the front edge, these tell me that he is made from 750 grade silver, assayed in Barcelona sometime between 1934 and 1988. Unfortunately Spanish hallmarks aren’t more specific than that with the date.
Measures 5.6cm long including the bale ring and 2.6cm wide. Weighs 20.3 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. No damage. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on a vintage piece.
