Vintage Egyptian Faience Goddess Heqet Frog Amulet Bead on Sterling Silver Chain
Here I have a vintage Egyptian faience (ceramic) frog amulet, representing the goddess Heqet, which has been hung on a sterling silver chain. I’ve no idea of the age of the faience so I’m selling it just as an interesting vintage piece. It’s decorate with hieroglyphs on the reverse. The chain is a fine figaro link and it’s 18” long.
The frog is 2.6cm x 1.8cm. The chain is 18” long. Together they weigh 10 grams.
Condition: Very good uncleaned vintage condition. Just has the usual marks and tarnish to the silver which you'd expect on a vintage item.
