Antique French Silver and Rose Gold Bracelet with Tassel and Screw Clasp
This antique French Albertina bracelet is made from silver, with rose gold overlay on the back and front of the links. The links are hollow, rather than solid, so it’s fairly lightweight, but check out the lovely texture on each of them - when you look under magnification it looks almost like a snakeskin pattern. It has a chained tassel on one end, hanging from a short length of chain and a screw clasp on the other. The clasp functions by screwing and unscrewing the nut at the base which then locks the hinged arm of the clasp into place or allows you to open it up. There are French hallmarks throughout the piece.
The bracelet fastens at 7.25” long, with the tassel hanging down by a further 5cm. The links are 0.8cm wide. It weighs 9.3 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. Just the usual light marks and wear which you’d expect on an antique item, including some rubbing to the rose gold overlay.
