This vintage necklace is made from sterling silver, and is by the Franklin Mint. It features a wishbone shaped charm holder and 7 little charms hang from this - a clover, butterfly, crescent moon, snowflake, shoe, star and horse. It’s stamped on the back FM 79 (this design was made between 1979 and 1981) and Sterling. The sterling silver chain is 24” long, the clasp was broken so I’ve replaced it with a new sterling trigger clasp. The necklace comes in its original box, with certificate of authenticity and info on the meanings of each charm, this is dated ‘81. This is a rare collector’s piece - I’ve never seen this design before.
Measures 5.5cm in total length and 2.1cm across the widest point.
Weighs 12.5 grams with the chain.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The star is bent 90 degrees outwards just below the bale, I’m not sure if it’s designed to be like this so haven’t attempted to straighten it out. Aside from this it just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on a pre-owned piece.
