Victorian Silver Plated Slide Locket with Pansy Flowers Pendant
This antique pendant is made from silver plated brass. It features a beautiful art nouveau design on the front, depicting a pansy in the centre with leaves and buds to the sides. This slides around to reveal a locket compartment below. It currently holds a past owner’s picture, but this could be changed. The photo sits in a little steel frame, with a glass panel at the front to protect it. The casing on the back of the locket is also silver plated.
It’s 3.3cm high with the bale and 2.5cm wide. Weighs 6.8 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. The plating is in very good order with just some very light rubbing here and there. The sliding section sits with a very slight gap between it and the base but it doesn’t affect it. The glass inside is in excellent condition.
