This antique watch chain is made from English hallmarked sterling silver. The chain has a graduated curb, with the lion passant on every link and it fastens with a dog clip on one end. Spaced along the chain are 8 silver Three Pence coins, dating from 1932 to 1941, and a t-bar. I believe the chain to be late Victorian/Edwardian and the coins are a later owner’s addition. At 14.75” from end to end it is long enough to wear as a necklace on a slim neck or it could be doubled up to wear as a bracelet.
The links are 9mm wide in the middle and it weighs 56 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. The clip is good and springy. Just has the usual light marks and wear which you'd expect on an antique item.
