Antique French Silver and Marcasite Jabot Arrow Pin / Brooch
Here I have an antique brooch, in the form of an arrow. It’s made of silver and set with sparkly little Marcasites at either end. It opens by pulling the point of the arrow away; there’s a little notch in the pin and a safety catch on the arrow head which catches in this notch to keep it from falling off. There are silver stamps on either end and although they’re very hard to make out I’m pretty certain that it’s French.
Measures 7.8cm x 1.3cm. It weighs 3.6 grams.
Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. No missing marcasites. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish which you’d expect on an antique item.
