Rare 1924 9ct Gold and Enamel Friday 13th Charm / Small Pendant
This rare vintage charm or small pendant is made from 9ct yellow gold. It depicts a calendar page for Friday 13th in white enamel. It has a full UK hallmark on the back. The date letter is a little tricky to identify but i’m pretty convinced it’s 1924. The maker’s initials are C&F, for Cropp & Farr, who produced jewellery from 1917. There’s a good sized jump ring at the top for hanging (this is not soldered shut).
Measures 1.9cm long including the bale (the calendar page alone is 1.3cm high) and 1.0cm wide. Weighs 1.6grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with the usual light marks commensurate with its age. The enamel is in good order - there’s no scratching, just a couple of tiny fleabites to the edge visible under magnification; one is on the bottom right hand corner and the other on the top edge directly under the bale.
