This antique button is made from solid silver and it can be worn as a pendant. It originates from Salamanca, in Spain and a quick internet search revealed ones that look very similar which are dated to the 17th century! I can’t guarantee this one is that old but it is certainly antique. The silver has no stamps but has been acid tested.
Measures 2.5cm x 2.3cm. Weighs 9 grams.
